Pan Macmillan – Biz Stone

Twitter is the second biggest social network in the world but its founders aren’t as famous as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg.  So when Twitter co-founder Biz Stone released his autobiography, publisher Pan Macmillan asked Kallaway to raise Biz’s profile and boost sales of his book. By drawing parallels between the foundation of Twitter and the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and businesses in the UK, we made his experience resonate among different audiences. An opinion platform programme enabled Biz to share his views on current and future technology, commerce and social media. Biz spoke at venues as diverse as the London Business Forum and Shoreditch House. Kallaway secured appearances on BBC2’s Newsnight, Sky News and 15 other broadcast interviews, plus 27 features in the UK national press, including full-page interviews in the Observer, Sunday Times, Telegraph and FT. Book sales leapt 263%.
