Kallaway, a leading independent, creative communications consultancy is seeking a motivated and highly able intern to work across its range of exciting campaigns.  This varied and interesting role provides responsibility, significant hands on experience, skills development and training.

Kallaway works with leading cultural and international brands across destinations, tourism, arts and culture and the retail and property sectors.  Examples include Battersea Power Station, The Crown Estate, Japan House London, SS Great Britain, KidZania, Royal Academy of dance, Tower Bridge Experience, and the Women’s Prize for Fiction – to name a few

We seek an intern to join us for anywhere between four – six months to support the delivery of campaigns and other activity across the company. You will receive training, the responsibility and opportunity to deliver projects and a one-to-one mentor to help guide your development. If we think you’re a great fit, there is often an opportunity to extend your internship and, for the right person, the chance to work at Kallaway full time if possible.   

For internships, we take an unusual approach in that we don’t wish to see your CV. We don't want to know where you went to university or even if you did. What we seek are creative individuals with a genuine passion for public relations, with the key attributes of flair, imagination, a strong work ethic and enthusiasm. 

You should be a brand and news junkie, interested in the ways brands harness consumer trends, culture and current affairs to communicate, influence customers and the ever-changing nature the way we receive news.  

We are a digital first company. You should be completely at home running social media accounts and be able to produce Microsoft Office documents to a very high standard. You should also have a bright and positive persona, be articulate and confident with outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills. If you have other languages or media production skills such as video, audio, or photography skills then please tell us.  

Above all, we seek individuals who are self-starters. A person who will relish the chance to make the most of the opportunity, contribute and make a positive impact. You should have no more full time formal education in front of you and be available for at least four to six months from the start date advertised.

  • Three thought leadership ideas:  As part of the internship we provide the opportunity to write an opinion / insight articles on relevant PR or marketing topics that our clients will find relevant and interesting and useful. What three subjects would you choose and why?

Salary:          £15,000.00 annual salary prorated to the length of internship

Holiday:         25 days pro rata plus bank holidays
